It is a *wonderful* short read, and it left me strongly hoping for a sequel.For those readers who are not in Huntsville (where the book is set), this book offers a fun, page-turning experience that focuses on an gripping love story, scientific detail, a firmly grounded plot, clear writing, and a straightforward journey into a world that exists just below the surface of the reality that we all know. This is an excellent book for any young adult or adult who is looking for a fun, quick read that will leave an impression. I could not put it down.
Mr. Young's attention to detail makes this book even more of a pleasure. He leaves no threads hanging, no questions that bug the reader's mind later.
The Huntsville local will find some extra humor in these pages. It is an apt description of both the town and the people who live here, and Mr. Young's precise descriptions frequently brought out an audible laugh for me.
All in all, I would strongly recommend this to anyone who enjoys science fiction, detective, suspense, or romance novels, or just good, clear writing. It's rare to find so many excellent points in one novella!
